Payment and keys

What passes through us, and what never does

Handled by Keyterminus

  • Your keys, stored encrypted and decrypted only when you choose Reveal.
  • Your orders and invoices, kept for 6 years as the law requires.

Never handled by us

  • Card number, expiry date and security code go straight to the payment provider’s hosted page, not to us.
  • Your bank's 3-D Secure check, which happens between you and your bank.

If a key doesn't work, we replace it, or refund it if no replacement is available. If a payment fails, you aren't charged. We reply within 1 business day.

Information desk

Keys are delivered to your account, usually within minutes after your payment is confirmed. A bank or security check can make it take longer. If we can’t issue a key within 24 hours of payment confirmation, we refund it.

A Global key works on an account set to any country we serve. A Europe, United Kingdom, United States or North America key activates only on an account set to that region. The region is on every product page and in your cart.

On the platform named on the product page: for example Games › Activate a Product on Steam, Redeem code in the EA app, or redeem.microsoft.com for Xbox. Each platform’s steps are in How activation works and next to the key in your account.

Check that the platform and region match your account. If it still fails, report it from the key in your account within 30 days of delivery, with a screenshot of the error. Our check takes up to 3 business days; a faulty key is swapped for a new one, or refunded when no replacement exists. See Key not working?.

No. You enter your card details on our PCI DSS compliant payment provider’s hosted page; we receive only the confirmation, the amount and your order number. We never see or store your full card number. Your bank may ask you to approve the payment with 3-D Secure.

You can cancel free of charge before your key is issued: email info@keyterminus.com with your order number. At checkout you ask for delivery straight after payment, so the 14-day right to cancel ends once a key is issued. We refund if we can’t issue a key within 24 hours or a faulty key can’t be replaced. Refunds go to the original payment method within 14 days. See the Refund policy.

Every line ends here. Every key starts here.
